"Having hope may make something good come out of something so tragic".

Alexis' Story

Alexis (Lexi) Spencer
1993 - 2009

Alexis passed away at the age of sixteen.   She was a passenger in a car accident that tragically took her life much too soon.

Lexi had been involved in athletics all of her life, participating in volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, and dance.
She was a caring friend who was known to be loyal in good times and bad. Friends describe her as "non-judgmental" and "generous".

In Lexi's honor, a scholarship program has been established, to help those students who need financial assistance to participate in athletics.

Lexi's family would like to remind parents and kids of the dangers of driving.  Please always wear you seat belt, drive responsibly,  and never get in the car with a driver who has been drinking. You can prevent your own tragedy.  To learn about about how impaired driving affects children, please visit the Students Against Destructive Decisions web site.
